Emerging from the remnants of More Bad News and the Horns from Hell, The Howling Horns is a dynamic seven-piece band that has been captivating audiences across the region for several years. Delivering chart-topping hits from iconic bands such as Chicago, Huey Lewis & the News, Bruno Mars, and more, this band doesn't just bring home the bacon – they fry it up in the pan. With a horn section that adds a special touch to their performances, the talented 3-piece horn ensemble is like the cherry on top of a rock 'n' roll music sundae. As we bid farewell to another spectacular Rose Festival, there's no better way to close out the event than with these legendary performers gracing the stage at the Merritt Park Amphitheater.

Saturday, June 15th 2024, 6:30 PM - “THE BRITISH INVASION” Playing live at the Merrit Park Floating Amphitheater.

Kicking off the night with the Welland Rose Festival, we welcome the British Invasion Band, capturing the essence of the 1960s British rock revolution. For over 15 years, this Niagara-based group has delighted audiences with hits from The Beatles, The Kinks, Gerry & The Pacemakers, The Rolling Stones, and Herman's Hermits. Led by Merv Petreshenko on lead guitar and vocals, and supported by guitarist Dave Romano, their performances brim with the swagger and angst of the era, creating an electrifying atmosphere that transports audiences back in time. The seamless harmony between Merv's soulful lead vocals and masterful guitar work, along with Dave's dynamic riffs, ignites a musical firestorm that leaves the crowd singing and swaying to the timeless tunes of the golden era of rock 'n' roll. Saturday, June 15th 2024, 8:00 PM - “Elton Rohn” Playing live at the Merrit Park Floating Amphitheater.

The highlight of the night is the featured band, Elton Rohn, hailing from Toronto, Canada. Known for their stunning tribute to Elton John, Elton Rohn has headlined over 400 theatres and festival shows across North America, from Las Vegas to Atlantic City, California to New York, and throughout Canada.

The ONLY Elton John Tribute asked to perform at the Elton John fan convention in Las Vegas.

Ron Camilleri, who embodies Elton John with his vocal, piano, and stage presence, delivers a live performance that’s remarkably close to the real thing. The passion, energy, and incredible musicianship of Elton Rohn make this a show not to be missed, bringing the best of Elton John's music to life in an unforgettable way.

As the music fades, the night will end with a breathtaking fireworks display at approximately 10 PM, lighting up the sky and providing a perfect conclusion to an evening of stellar performances.

Friday, June 14th 2024, 6:30 PM - “Jammr” Playing live at the Merrit Park Floating Amphitheater.

Following Any Day is, JAMMR, the dance-rock sensation that has been setting the Niagara Region abuzz since their formation in 2021. JAMMR is a band that knows no bounds when it comes to energizing a crowd. With their fresh renditions of dance-rock covers from the '70s through the mid-2000s they promise an unforgettable performance brimming with vivacity both on stage and amongst the audience.

Following the opening acts is Niagara's own Hard Rock Hooligans. This is a band that embodies the spirit of rock 'n' roll. Since 2016, this group of seasoned performers has dominated the local music scene, earning accolades and a robust fan base along the way. Hard Rock Hooligans are masters of versatility, effortlessly shifting gears from heavy rock anthems to pulsating dance hits. Their performances are a testament to their experience and prowess in both live shows and recording sessions.

The members of Hard Rock Hooligans are:

The Club, rich in history, fosters a sense of enjoyment, camaraderie, and brotherhood among its members.

They have a distinguished legacy of organizing and promoting diverse competitive motorcycle events.

The Welland Rose Festival takes pride in partnering with one of Canada’s most esteemed oval dirt track speedways.
